Renovation and drainage

Existing cracks, movement, drainage and available height at doors affect whether a deck can be resurfaced or needs removal. An overlay is not appropriate for every existing slab.

The scope should address the transition to the pool, drains, adjacent landscaping and any steps. Pool-shell repairs and other specialist work should be identified separately.

Will travertine stay cool all summer?

No surface can be promised to stay cool in Tucson sun. Compare actual samples and plan shade where barefoot comfort is important.

Can I add turf beside the pool deck?

Yes. The layout should account for drainage, edge transitions and the way people move around the pool.
